2010 World Meet at Reggio Emilia, Italy

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Verona Parachuting Center, as candidate site for the 10th World POPS Meet, has just informed me that is unable to host this event due to the last minute planned works on the airport in the course of the 2010, consequently I am forced to change the event location. and date. This change is the only way to guarantee the organization of the 10th World POPS Meet.

After an immediate and accurate investigation I found the BFU (Body Flight University) Parachuting School as the best alternative place. The BFU is located in Reggio Emilia, 115 Kilometres (72 miles) south of Verona. www.bfu.it.

You can see the airport and the city on Google earth at the address: Via dell?Aeronautica, 15 Reggio Emilia.

Here are some location features: 1400 metres (4.600 feet) tarmac runway, very large DZ, covered packing area, camping on DZ, swimming pool, many hotels nearby.

The new date of the event will be from 4th to 12th of June 2010.

Great news for S.O.S. The first SOS 4 way RW National competition will be held in 2010 POPS Meet.
